Our Policies
CANCELLATION POLICY
You may cancel your event at no charge one week or more before the scheduled party date. Please note that we will assess a fee of $200 if you must cancel after this deadline. If you have paid a 50% deposit by cash or check, we will retain this deposit. Otherwise, we will charge your credit card.
MINIMUM/MAXIMUM GUEST ALLOWANCE
We have a minimum guest requirement of 10 people for private parties at the listed rate, and our maximum number of guests we are able to serve is 50. For parties of 25 people or more, please give us at least 2 weeks notice, so that we can be sure to procure the supplies necessary for your large group.
COMMISSIONING A SPECIAL PIECE OF ART FOR YOUR PARTY
If you want to request a piece of art for your special occasion that is not already in our gallery, we would be happy to paint it for you. However, it must be a piece that we feel can be successfully completed by your guests within a 2-3 hour time frame. We require 2 weeks or more notice and a $200 deposit for this service, unless we feel your requested piece would work for other venues, then we do not charge a fee. If you cancel your party any time after the art has been created, you will forfeit your $200 deposit. Hawaii Island Art Parties retains the copyright for all works of art created by our artists.
